Marketing Associate — Generalist
Role Overview
You're early in your marketing career, or you've spent a few years doing a bit of everything and you like it that way. You're hungry, fast, curious, and you don't want to specialize into a narrow box just yet. You've started using AI tools seriously — not to cheat, but because you realized they make you 3x faster at the boring parts so you can spend time on the interesting parts.
If that's you, this role is the best generalist seat we have to offer.
The Head of Growth sets strategy. The specialists (content, design, paid, success, community) go deep in their lanes. You're the person in the middle who makes things move.
You'll be the right hand to the Head of Growth — running coordination, executing across whatever the week demands, directing AI agents for day-to-day production, and keeping the whole operation from dropping balls.
This is a role where you learn more in 6 months than most people do in 2 years. It's also a role where if you want to eventually specialize (into content, paid, product marketing, whatever) you'll have had exposure to all of it.
Key Responsibilities
Execute across whatever the funnel needs this week — briefs, pages, emails, social, copy, experiments, reports
Direct AI agents for production work: drafts, research, competitor monitoring, enrichment, variants
Own the calendar, the project tracker, the "who's doing what by when"
Run quality-check on AI outputs before they go live — taste is your job, not just speed
Pull together weekly reporting across channels
Jump into customer conversations, read support tickets, bring the team insights from the field
Help hire and onboard the next person behind you
Requirements
1–3 years in marketing (agency, in-house, freelance — doesn't matter) or a sharp fresh grad who has already been doing real work on the side
You write clearly — you think in outlines and bullets when you need to, prose when it matters
You've already been using ChatGPT, Claude, or similar as part of your actual workflow — not just experimenting
You notice when AI output sounds generic and you know how to fix it
You like owning things end-to-end, even when the things are small
You're comfortable with messy, fast, multi-product environments
Nice to Have
Experience in SaaS or product marketing
Familiarity with project management tools and workflows
Background in content, social, or email marketing
Experience directing AI agents or automation workflows
Success Metrics
The growth team runs smoothly — nothing gets dropped
AI agents are producing on-brand output under your direction
Weekly reporting is clear, honest, and on time
Cross-functional execution is fast and high quality
The Head of Growth can focus on strategy because you own execution
