What You Will Own

  • Feature implementation from specification to production-ready code
  • Quality of every feature you build — if it ships broken, it's your responsibility
  • Your own testing — every feature verified before submitting for review

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand product requirements fully before writing code — ask questions when anything is unclear
  • Build reliable, maintainable features using JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frameworks
  • Use AI tools effectively — validate and improve AI-generated code, don't accept it blindly
  • Test every feature thoroughly — happy path, edge cases, failure modes
  • Fix issues proactively before they reach production
  • Collaborate with your Engineering Lead and teammates through code reviews and feedback
  • Continuously improve your skills as our stack evolves

Requirements

  • 3+ years building web applications with JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Comfortable with Next.js, React, NestJS or Express, PostgreSQL, Git
  • Picks up unfamiliar codebases and new technologies quickly
  • Experience with AI dev tools (Claude, Copilot, Cursor) is a plus
  • Strong debugging skills — can trace issues and find root causes
  • Thorough testing mindset — tests until problems are found
  • Detail-oriented — catches issues before they reach production
