Community & Social Lead
Role Overview
You've been running social accounts, managing communities, or doing content-creator-adjacent work for a while. You know the grind — daily posts, engagement, DMs, the endless feed of everyone's takes. And you've started noticing something: AI can now produce "a LinkedIn post" in 10 seconds, but AI cannot build an audience, hold a voice, or know which comment to reply to and how.
The human parts of this job just became the whole job. That suits you fine.
In a world where AI floods every feed with decent-but-forgettable content, what cuts through is voice, point of view, and actual relationships. That's what we want to build — across LinkedIn, X, YouTube, newsletter, whatever fits our products and our audience.
You'll own community and social across our products. You'll build audience, hold brand voice, engage real humans, and use AI as scaffolding rather than as a replacement for thought.
Key Responsibilities
Own social and community strategy across channels — decide where to play, why, and what we're trying to do in each
Hold and evolve brand voice — every post should sound like us, not like every other SaaS feed
Produce and publish — mix of your own writing, AI-drafted content you direct and polish, and team contributions you coordinate
Run the posting engine: calendar, variants, scheduling, reposts, repurposing across formats
Engage — reply to comments, hop into relevant conversations, build relationships with people who matter in our space
Build and nurture community spaces (Slack, Discord, subreddit, newsletter comments, wherever our users gather)
Partner with Content on turning long-form into social, and with Customer Success on turning user stories into posts
Track what's working — not vanity metrics, but the ones that tie to growth
Requirements
1–3 years running social accounts, community, or creator-adjacent work (in-house, agency, or your own projects)
A strong writing voice, and you can flex it across serious and playful
You've already been using AI for drafts, variants, repurposing — and you know the difference between AI-assisted good content and AI-generated slop
You understand that the job isn't "post 10 times a week," it's "build an audience that trusts us" — those are very different things
You're comfortable being in public as part of the brand — replying, engaging, sometimes being the face
You're up to date on what's working on each platform right now — and humble enough to change your mind when things shift
Nice to Have
Experience building a community from scratch
Background in SaaS or tech social media
Video or short-form content creation skills
Experience with social listening and analytics tools
A personal following or content portfolio that shows your voice
Success Metrics
Audience is growing on key channels — followers, subscribers, community members
Engagement is real — conversations, not just likes. People reply, share, and come back
Brand voice is consistent and recognizable across channels
Community spaces are active and providing real value to users
Social is contributing to growth — referral traffic, signups, brand awareness that ties to pipeline
AI is integrated into the workflow for speed without sacrificing voice
How to Apply
Skip cover letters. Send us these three things — they're what we actually read:
Link us to a social account, community, or piece of content you've built or helped build. Tell us what you did and what the outcome was.
