Role Overview
Xponent, established in 2003 and operating from Chattogram, Bangladesh, builds custom software, AI-powered products, and SaaS platforms — including our own ERP platform (abcERP), standalone SaaS products (OikikBooks, OikikHR, OikikInventory), and industry-specific solutions. We are a growing technology company with a strong focus on product quality, engineering excellence, and long-term client success.
As we grow, we need someone to own the space between the founder and the development team. This is not a coding role. This is a leadership and delivery role. You will manage projects, lead developers, and ensure that what gets built is the right thing — delivered on time, with quality, and with clear communication throughout.
Importantly, Xponent operates as an AI-first development company. Our developers use Claude Code, VS Code, and GitHub Copilot as their primary tools — not hand-coding. You will be responsible for driving and maintaining this AI-first workflow across the team, ensuring adoption, quality, and output velocity.
This role is not for someone looking for a short-term contract or a stepping stone. We are building a team for the long term. What You Will Own
Key Responsibilities
Take full ownership of project delivery — from kickoff to production
Keep a team of 3–5 developers organised, focused, and accountable
Communicate clearly between the founder and the dev team
Translate business needs into technical direction and vice versa
Spot problems early — timeline risks, blockers, misalignment — and act before they escalate
Run projects with structure and discipline without creating unnecessary process
Hold the team to quality and reliability standards — not just deadlines
Drive and enforce AI-first development practices across the team — ensure developers use Claude Code, VS Code, and similar tools as their primary workflow
Use AI tools yourself for management tasks — drafting reports, breaking down projects, analyzing team performance, and making decisions faster
Work with sincerity, diligence, and full professional accountability
Requirements
4–5 years in a technical project management or team lead role
Strong enough technical background to communicate with developers
Experience managing small development teams of 3–5 people
Strong team leadership and people management skills
Excellent organisational, analytical, and communication skills
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical and team challenges efficiently
Comfortable using AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT) for management work — reporting, planning, analysis, communication
Comfortable working directly with a founder in a fast-moving environment
Based in Chattogram or willing to relocate
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred
Nice to Have
Experience in a product-focused or agency environment
Familiarity with agile or kanban delivery methodologies
Prior experience in a founder-led or fast-moving startup
Experience managing teams that use AI-assisted development workflows
Understanding of ERP systems or SaaS product development
